Here are three truths I learned recently that have helped me to stay on track, get back on track or to start over when need be.
1. Follow Your Heart
Revisit what is fueling your passion. Ask yourself, "Is my love showing?", "Is my heart in what I am doing?", "Do I love what I do well enough to work through obstacles?" When your desire to succeed is strong, you will have the inner fortitude to keep going. If you are feeling frustration, it is quite difficult to display passion - and it is your passion that draws others to you.
To release your frustrations I suggest that you:
*Step away from your business for a moment. Take a deep breath and regroup.
*Remember WHY you are working in business and WHAT you are working for.
*Forget about yourself and focus on helping others.
2. Freshen Up!
With all the current woeful economic news, I have made a concerted effort to stay fresh. I've also made a deliberate decision to not let the dire news drain me of my energy or spirit. I have accepted the fact that I need to build more relationships to get the same results I desire. I am dedicated to keeping myself fresh and sharp. I have developed an immunity plan to protect my heart and passion, preserve my energy and deal effectively with the harsh realities around us. What will refresh you?
Below are a few tactics that help me to stay refreshed:
Get started now or start again! Determine what consistent actions you need to do each week so that at the end of the week you can feel your situation is improving. Improvement and self-growth are great gifts to give yourself. These are simple ways you can show yourself that you love what you do and are willing to invest in yourself.1. Follow Your Heart

Below are a few tactics that help me to stay refreshed:
- Meet new people either online or in your local area. Attend with no particular agenda except to form a few new relationships and trust the universe to lead you to the right people.
- Read an inspiring book to keep your mind in the optimal place. Some suggestions are The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success: A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams by Deepak Chopra
- Take time off - schedule a time to play. Go to the movies, see friends or do something for fun.
Follow these three truths and you will give yourself a fresh start whenever you need it.
